BetterSearch for Blingo Discontinued

In case anyone didn’t notice, I have not updated BetterSearch for Blingo and don’t plan to. There were several reasons for this decision, the most important ones being:

  1. I don’t use Blingo anymore since they started mixing ads with search results in a way that makes them difficult to tell apart. This is a disreputable practice and I don’t support it.
  2. I don’t use BetterSearch anymore for search engine thumbnail previews. IMO, GooglePreview is a superior service. It doesn’t support Blingo, but see #1.

Thank you to the people who downloaded this extension in the past. I’m glad some people found it useful during its short life.
